Hi! I'm Rachel Portwood!

I primarily photograph wildlife and nature scenes, along with some landscapes in northwest Colorado and the surrounding areas in Utah and Wyoming. 

I have always been curious and interested in the natural world and earned a BS in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences in order to follow my passion as a career. With my wildlife education and curiosity, I can use my observations of the local ecosystem and to find best times and locations to spot wildlife, find interesting plants, or unique scenes on the landscape. Living in the wilderness has provided me with unique opportunities to watch birds and wildlife living in their native habitat with minimal overlap with humans.
